Nursing Accreditation:
Children’s National Medical Center is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Nursing Credit Designation: This live activity has been designated for a maximum of 1.0 CNEs. Successful completion includes viewing the entire session and completing the online evaluation and attestation of completion. A link will be provided during the session.

Steps to Claim CNE Credit (NURSING AND SOCIAL WORK)

  1. Open evaluation link in CHROME 
  2. Complete evaluation
  3. Once on the CNE certificate screen
    • Fill out your name
    • PRINT or SCREENSHOT the certificate
    • Press submit

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) through the joint providership of Inova Office of Continuing Medical Education and Children’s National Medical Center. The Inova Office Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Medical Society of Virginia to provide continuing education for physicians.

CME Credit Designation:
The Inova Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  Physicians may claim up to 1.0 credit in Type 1 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license in Virginia. 

Steps to Claim CME credit (PHYSICIANS) 

  1. Go to http://icmes.inova.org  
  2. Log-in with your ICMES username and password.
  3. Click on “My Credits” then “View Available CME Events”
  4. Search for “2021 Children's National Child Abuse Awareness Symposium"
  5. Find the meeting you attended and click “Add Credit” 
  6. Read the statement and click “I certify” then complete the evaluation and hit submit.
